Fifty Shades of Fashion

Fifty Shades of Grey. It's the book that everybody's talking about - well, 20 million to be exact (according to the posters). It's every woman's delicious, little secret. A pretty big secret, on second thought, but a secret no less that solicits a coy smile from the lady sitting opposite you on the tube or at least an all knowing nod. It's chick-lit at it's finest if I do say so myself and where chick's come in, normally, so does fashion.
Women across the nation are being inspired to ramp up the heat in a certain department and who could blame them?! However, I've found a new fashion muse and it's none other than the mystifying Christian Grey. From his silver gray eyes and white linen shirts to his lascivious appetite for oxblood leather, Mr Grey - although, unfortunately, fictional - is a style force to be reckoned with.
So, what will you be taking away from Mr Grey? Are you quivering to get your hands on a new pair of silver studded shoes or will you be off to Home Depot for some brand new carabiners? Sssh. It's our little secret.

The Jet Setter
Christian Grey is the ultimate business man - suave, rich and alluringly competent - thus inspiring this straight-laced yet sexy ensemble. A sparkling, silver pencil skirt is reminiscent of his eyes, often ablaze with passion.

Black Diamond
For his dashing good looks and irresistible magnetic pull, Mr Grey is certainly owed the title of a diamond. However, his questionable taste in... extracurricular activities taint his beauty. On the other hand, ask Anastasia Steele and she might present you with this argument: black diamonds, being the rarest, are certainly one of the most beautiful. Christian Grey is arguably much the same.

Good Time Charlie
By his own admission, Grey is "fifty shades of..." well, you know the rest. Most of the time, he's only got his negative side on show - dominant, threatening and achingly cold. Needless to say, his relaxed, carefree side serves as inspiration for this slouchy, easy-going outfit. There's no doubt that he's far from a "hearts and flowers" kind of guy but his sudden bouts of happiness cast a warm glow over an otherwise very tense scenario.

Venom
The 'Red Room of Pain' most probably doesn't appeal to the masses, however, it's rich, red interior - decked out in dark wood and leather - is the best kind of catalyst for the budding femme fatale. Think slinky silhouettes, spiked stilettos and just a hint of dominatrix.
